Electric Anchor Windlass

TUF Marine Electric Anchor Windlass System is an anchor handling system which is designed for anchor chains from 12.5 up to 162mm .

TUF electric windlasses are driven by marine-purpose electric motors which are certified by most major IACS classification societies.

It mainly consists of gypsy /wildcat wheel, main shaft device, frame, foundation, brake, clutch, gear box and electric motor. Windlasses can be customized to suit special applications and operation requirements.

TUF electric anchor windlass is designed and built with heavy duty split bronze bearings which could make them strong and not easy to break. The operating mechanisms for brakes and clutches are designed for lasting safe and convenient manual operation. The brakes are also adjustable. The windlass design allows easy access for lubrication and inspection.
