Dalian Marine Propeller Co., Ltd.(DMPC), a subsidiary of CSSC,successfully won the bid for the propeller order .
The order is six 13,000TEU bi-fuel container ships built by Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. for the French CMA CGM Group
The propeller has a diameter of 10 meters, 5 blades, and a design weight of 69 tons.It will be applied to the world's latest generation of green, high-efficiency and energy-saving 13,000TEU dual-fuel container ships.This propeller is designed by DMPC and Shanghai Smard Big Push Marine Propeller Design Co., Ltd.The successful bid for the propeller design marks that China has truly realized the independent design of propellers for super-large container ships.
