The world’s first 89mm diameter R6 mooring chain

The world's first 89mm diameter ultra-high-strength R6 marine mooring chain was produced and shipped in Jiangsu, China.

This batch of mooring chains will be installed on the CM-SD1000 medium and deep-water semi-submersible drilling platform independently developed by China. This is also the first time that R6 mooring chains have been industrialized.

A single length of 2250 meters, a total of twelve pcs R6 mooring chains with a total weight of about 4800 tons can meet the needs of medium and deep water operations of 300 to 1000 meters in different sea areas around the world. R6 mooring chain meets the latest international standards and specifications, and various property indexes have reached the international advanced level. This R6 mooring chain has obtained dual class society certification from CCS and DNV.
