Techano Oceanlift, a subsidiary of Nekkar, has signed a contract worth approximately 6.5 million euros (approximately RMB 51.18 million, converted at the current exchange rate) with Turkey’s Sefine Shipyard to provide an offshore crane.
Under the contract, Techano Oceanlift will supply a 150-ton knuckle boom crane capable of performing subsea construction and topside lifting operations, equipped with an Active Heave Compensation (AHC) winch with 3,000 meters of wire for subsea construction operations, It will also be equipped with control systems and motion compensation systems from Intellilift, another subsidiary of Nekkar. The crane will be delivered to the Turkish Sefine shipyard in 2025.
An official from Techano Oceanlift said: “Our crane solutions are very flexible and have been developed specifically to meet the requirements of this type of specialized vessels. Leveraging Intellilift’s expertise to provide more advanced crane solutions demonstrates Nekkar Group’s commitment to safe, cost-effective Comprehensive strength in lifting and load handling solutions.”
Techano Oceanlift said that the company has developed a series of new offshore/subsea cranes to meet the growing needs of subsea operations and construction.
It is reported that the above-mentioned contract is the second crane supply agreement awarded to Techano Oceanlift by Sefine Shipyard. The last contract was signed earlier this year and was worth 4 million euros (approximately 31.5 million yuan, converted at the current exchange rate).
